The Dangers of Sugar-Jake Harris

In everyday eating, the average male consumes around 27 grams of sugar per day. Factories produce sugar through a large amount of processes such as cutting down plants, bleaching, boiling, and chemicals that are used in order to increase its flavor.
(This is just 1 gram of sugar)

In a can of soda, around half of the product is made up of sugar. (picture provided)

Sugar is made in several ways such as molasses and brown sugar. None of these different types of sugars are good for you nor natural. Companies and Factories are making billions off just Americans alone just by producing sugar.

Health risks of Sugar
  • vascular disease
  • diabetes
  • fatty liver disease
  • tooth decay
  • weakened immune system
  • weight gain
  • increases aging
  • risk of heart attack or stroke
  • Inflamed kidneys
There's a lot more symptoms of eating sugar, but it would likely cover the whole page. But, sometimes it's okay to have ice cream or something sweat once in a while. As long as you don't over consume, because sugar is addictive. Some research studies have said that sugar is just as or even more addictive than opioids. Opioids are drugs such as cocaine, heroine, and etc... The problem is when we humans eat sugar our brain responds with us feeling we got an award and we always want that feeling of accomplishment. In reality however sugar tricks our minds because it's such a powerful substance that our brain feels like we need it.

How ever sugar isn't bad as long as it's natural. The best example I can provide is fruits! Fruits are great for you, they have tons of fiber, antioxidants, and vitamins! They usually come from trees and can be essentially used in almost any diet except for ones like Keto that doesn't allow you to eat rarely any carbohydrates. Especially after a workout, an apple or a couple slices of pineapple can provide energy that will help you last throughout the day. Under this I'll provide my personal favorite fruits that I consume almost on a daily!

                        Pineapples                                                   Mangos

                    Grapes                                                        Oranges
