Proper Nutrition-Jake Harris
There's been many debates over the years on what sort of diet is the best. Popular idea's of diets that have been used are: Keto, Paleo, Carnivore, Vegan, Atkins, and many more. Some of these diets do work for people, but I think none of these diets are maintainable. For example, if you were to do Keto and you can only have 13 to 0 grams of carbohydrates, would you be able to sustain that for the rest of your life? The answer is likely no, so on this blog I will explain the easiest way to get or maintain good shape!
1. EAT WHEN YOUR HUNGRY
- When your body tells you that your hungry, that means you need calories
- If your slightly hungry then have a snack like a banana or a handful of nuts
2. LISTEN TO YOUR BODY
- If for example your body can't process milk or dairy it's best to avoid it.
3.EAT SMART AND IN MODERATION
- If you know something isn't healthy, it's probably best not to eat it
- A Hamburger at McDonalds isn't good for you, but it's ok to have it occasionally
4.DON'T OVERFILL YOUR STOMACH
- It's never the best to overfill your stomach with food
- It's best to feel no longer hungry than really full.
5.DRINK ONLY WATER
- This one is probably the hardest for most people
- The more you drink water however, the easier it gets
6. DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF
- This is a very common misconception in which people think that starving yourself is going to make you lose weight
- Starving yourself actually slows down your metabolism which breaks down all the food you consume
